Cop accused of sexually assaulting 15-y-o granted bail
Police sergeant Dalton Leslie was today granted bail in the amount of $250,000 on a sexual offence charge.
In granting bail, Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey ordered Sergeant Leslie not to interfere with witnesses in the case.
The policeman, who is attached to the St Andrew South Police division, was ordered to return to court on July 22.
Sergeant Leslie is being accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy.
The policeman was charged today and brought before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court following a ruling by the Director of Public Prosecutions last week.
