Students at the Pembroke Hall Primary School in St Andrew teamed up to deliver mathematically charged renditions on Math Adventure Day recently.

Math Adventure Day is executed by First Global Bank in conjunction with the Ministry of Education (MOE), in 12 schools across Kingston, Mandeville and St James. It involves math being taught to students through the infusion of music.

Instead of the traditional chalk and talk, the overall objective of this project is aimed at better enabling students at the grades three and four level to grasp literacy and numeracy concepts.

Math Adventure Day is celebrated annually at one of the schools within the programme.
