LIME Salutes Circle of Excellence
From start-ups to multinationals to large government departments, the people behind the technology that transforms these enterprises with the efficiency needed to compete in the global world of commerce were recognised at the LIME Circle of Excellence Awards, held recently at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus.
The Circle of Excellence Awards gives organisational recognition to individuals who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to efficiently using telecommunications services to modernise the way business gets done in Jamaica. The awards focus on business sales and service professionals at LIME who were ranked tops by their peers and customers, having achieved and surpassed key internal targets.
LIME's head of sales, Norman Naar, said that the Circle of Excellence is of great significance to the recipients, and more so the businesses that depend upon their professional advice.
He said: "Every business wants access to high-speed connectivity and the best technology to deliver services. The sales team is building on our significant strengths as a long-standing telecoms provider to develop on customers' current and future expectations."
RECOGNISED FOR HARD WORK
The President's Award was presented to Donna Hurmal, team leader of the pivotal government sales team. She was lauded for her work in understanding and catering to the telecoms needs of the public sector while working with her dedicated team to tailor solutions that aid efficiency and increased productivity throughout government departments. Additionally, Hurmal's work to provide other modern communication products and services has delivered key advancements in e-Government services to citizens.
Naar believes that LIME owes its position as one of the most honoured telcos in the region to the work of the dedicated professionals and their peers in the organisation who consistently demonstrate a passion for delivering excellence.
