Robbers break into Rosemount Primary school again, watchman tied up
A watchman was early this morning tied up as robbers broke into the Rosemount Primary School in Linstead, St Catherine.
A member of staff told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that up to now authorities at the school are yet to determine if the alleged criminals removed anything.
The teacher says a grille on the administrative building appears to have been cut and windows, which were shut overnight, are open.
It is understood that five masked men, went on the school compound sometime after three this morning and tied up the unarmed watchman.
They then proceeded to the administrative section.
The staff member told our news centre that classes cannot start as keys to open classrooms are in the administrative section.
They are now awaiting the arrival of the police.
Meanwhile, students and teachers are gathered in one section of the school.
The staff member says the school has been robbed on at least two other occasions in recent times.
