Governor General makes plea for unity to fight crime
Governor General Sir Patrick Allen has called on Jamaicans to form a united front with the security forces to help protect the nation’s children.
Sir Patrick says the sexual exploitation and brutal murder of children are sending shock waves across the island.
He says merely condemning this kind of evil is not enough and called on every Jamaican to join with the security forces and help to rescue Jamaica from the crime and negativity that have become pervasive.
Sir Patrick was addressing St Andrew Justices of the Peace during a recent ceremony at the Stella Maris Church.
