St Elizabeth PC aiming to complete new offices at a cost of $50m
The St Elizabeth Parish Council is working to complete the construction of its new offices at a cost of approximately $50 million.
The project is being undertaken on the grounds of the existing Parish Council building in Black River.
Mayor of Black River Councillor Everton Fisher says work is underway on the ground floor, which will accommodate the Mayor’s chamber, a meeting room for Councillors, a kitchen, a foyer, and restrooms.
This phase of the work is estimated at $22 million and Mayor Fisher said the Council has identified the funds.
The next phase of the project is expected to cost another $30 million.
