Volunteers from the Appliance Traders Limited Group help with the landscaping at The Jamaica Christian Boys’ Home on Labour Day.

With paint brushes and gardening tools in hand, it was a true 'labour of love' as more than 50 Appliance Traders Limited (ATL) volunteers gave their time and effort to landscape the grounds and repaint the dormitories and bathrooms of the Jamaica Christian Boys' Home on Labour Day.

One ward, a student of the Pembroke Hall High School, said he was extremely grateful to ATL not only for the work they did but for spending time with him and his brothers.

In addition to the paint and landscaping work, the ATL Group also donated bed linens and towels for the wards of the home. The Jamaica Christian Boys' Home is located at 7 Oxford Road and currently houses 30 boys aged 6-18.
