Embattled Trinidadian politician, Austin ‘Jack’ Warner, has reportedly surrendered to the police.

The Trinidad Express says Warner reported to the Police Fraud Squad at the Police Headquarters in Port of Spain after an arrest warrant was issued for him.

Warner, 72, is to face extradition to the United States to face charges of bribery and racketeering.

The former FIFA vice-president, who is among 14 FIFA officials and corporate executives indicted in a massive corruption case, could decide to waive his right to an extradition hearing.
