Legal Aid Council issues appeal to persons with pending cases before the courts

The Legal Aid Council is inviting persons with cases languishing before the courts to contact it.

Executive director of the council, Hugh Faulkner, notes that a criminal conviction or pending case can affect a person's ability to gain employment or travel overseas.

The Legal Aid Council mainly provides assistance to persons who cannot afford to retain lawyers for court cases.
