Master Minds - Schools vie for $1 million

Students from four schools across four parishes yesterday faced off in the First Global Bank Master Minds Quiz Competition for a share of $1,000,000 for their schools projects.

The four schools which reached the semi-finals and finals held simultaneously yesterday are: Southborough Primary from St Catherine; Pembroke Hall Primary from St Andrew, Bickersteth Primary and Infant from St James, and the Mandeville Primary and Junior High from Manchester.

All participants are grades three and four students.

The Master Minds Quiz Competition is a joint initiative being undertaken by First Global Bank, a subsidiary of the GraceKennedy Financial Group (GKFG).

"The first staging of the FGB Master Minds Quiz Competition was held in May 2014 with FGB disbursing $1,000,000 among the top three schools - Mandeville Primary and Junior High, Pembroke Hall Primary and the Bickersteth Primary and Infant.
