Motorcyclist collides with parked truck, lifted unto plywood, rushed to hospital

A motorcyclist, who collided with a parked truck in the vicinity of the Trident hotel in Portland, yesterday afternoon, is now in hospital.

The man was admitted in a serious but stable condition following the crash.

According to the police, the man was reportedly riding his motorbike along the Dolphin Bay main road, towards Port Antonio, when he collided with the delivery truck that had stopped across from the hotel.

A large crowd including workers at the Trident Hotel converged on the scene to view the injured man, who was lying on the ground.

With the assistance of the police, the man was lifted unto a piece of plywood and placed into a pick-up truck and rushed to hospital.
