Green Pond High School which had to close yesterday because of water problems reopened this morning.

Guidance counsellor at the school Rosalee Bernard told our The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that the regular water supply was restored last night.

Yesterday, the Education Ministry said it would have water trucked to the institution to ensure that it could reopen today.

Meanwhile, director of Region Four in which the school falls, Dr Michelle Pinnock, says the region is watching the situation to respond should further problems develop.
