Hunts Bay police charge two for murder

The Hunts Bay Police have charged two men in connection with two murders, which were committed in February and May of this year.

One of the men has been identified as 27-year-old Tashwayne Balford of Cedar Valley in Sligoville, St Catherine.

The police say Balford was charged yesterday for the May 21 murder of 30-year-old Marvin Nicholas, otherwise called as ‘Dudley’, of Majesty Gardens, Kingston 11.

The other man charged for murder is 34-year-old Ranaldo Foster, otherwise called ‘Dah Doh Wow’, of Wellington Street in Denham Town, Kingston 14.

He is charged for the February 8 murder of 24-year-old Neville Anderson, a bus conductor of Spaulding Avenue, Drewsland in Kingston 20.

Meanwhile, the police say a third man, who was arrested in connection to the murder of Jermaine Peterkin is also expected to be charged.

Peterkin, who was a security officer of Ebony Gardens, Longville Park, Clarendon was shot and killed on Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston on May 31.
