J$1 million bounty for suspect in St Bess quadruple killing

The police have announced a reward totalling J$1million for information leading to the capture and charge of a key suspect in the quadruple murder committed in Claremont, St Elizabeth on May 27.

The suspect is identified as Anward Anthony Hinds, otherwise called ‘Kirky’. He is said to frequent Flanker in St James and the parishes of Hanover and St Elizabeth.

Those killed in the May 27 quadruple killing include: Morris Sanderson who appears to be in his late fifties of a Mary Hill, St Elizabeth address; 73-year-old Ezra Wright; 60-year-old Archibald Brown; and 57-year-old George Brown, all of Claremont.

Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest and charge of Hinds is being asked to contact the Black River police at 965-2236, Police 119 emergency number, Crime Stop at 311, 811, Stay Alert App or the nearest police station.

Citizens are being reminded that it is a criminal offence to harbour fugitives.
