A father and son who are among nine men charged with the killing of two policemen in May 2010 are to return to court today.

Ten men had been charged with the murders but one, Mark Brown, has since died.

The others are Horace Williams and his son, Kemar; Oswald Kemp, Dwayne Forbes, Omar Green and Linton Facey.

Damion Williams, Nicholas Scott and Fitzroy Johnson are also accused of killing the cops.

The police say the accused were among a group of heavily armed gunmen who ambushed a police patrol team responding to gunshots being fired in the Mountain View area on May 23, 2010.

Sergeant Wayne Henriques and Constable Jason Davis died as a result of the attack which happened in the lead up to the police operation to capture West Kingston crime lord, Christopher 'Dudus' Coke.
