Hundreds sign up for JPS prepaid billing service

Currently the Jamaica Public Service Company Prepaid Billing Service is only being offered to customers living in Kingston and St Andrew and St Catherine.

The Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) says more than 900 Jamaicans have already signed up for its prepaid billing service.

With the prepaid system, persons are able to use electricity on a pay as you go basis.

Currently the Prepaid Billing Service is only being offered to customers living in Kingston and St Andrew and St Catherine.

The meter for the Prepaid Billing services installed free of cost by JPS and a customer may revert to the original service at any time without charge.
