Police hunting perpetrator behind burning of newborn male

The police are now on the hunt for the person responsible for burning a newborn male on an open lot on Payne Avenue in St Andrew, yesterday.

The Hunts Bay Police say residents discovered the body yesterday afternoon and called them.

The body was removed to the morgue after the scene was processed.

Investigators are now appealing to individuals to contact them with information that can help to find the person responsible for the act they have described as heinous.

They can also give information via the Stay Alert application, which is available for free download on Android devices.
