Jamaican man killed in dispute over £50 in England
An alleged dispute between two Jamaican friends over £50 (about J$9,000) has left one dead and the other in police custody in London, England.
The deceased believed to be of a Kingston address was murdered in Harlesden on Monday evening.
He has been identified as 55-year-old mechanic Granville Thomas of a Harrow-on-the-Hill address in north London.
He was reportedly stabbed to death with a knife in an alleyway.
A 29-year-old man, whom residents claim was a friend of the deceased, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
He remains in police custody.
It is understood that the men were arguing over money owed to the suspected killer.
