Dr Christopher Tufton and his attorney Arthur Williams have decided not to take legal action against the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) concerning the delegates list for West Central St Catherine at this time.

The parties have instead decided to have discussions to settle the delegates list.

Tufton had opposed the list on the basis that it was not properly compiled according to the rules of the party.

A meeting was scheduled for Sunday for the delegates to decide who will be chosen as caretaker for the constituency.

However, that meeting has been postponed in light of the discussions now taking place.

Tufton is vying against attorney-at-law Kent Gammon and Councillor Devon Wint to replace Dr Ken Baugh in the West Central St Catherine seat.
