The Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS) has always given back to its members and communities across Jamaica.

One of the latest initiatives was this year's Labour Day project, when staff members from VMBS, along with 65 volunteers, spent the day at the Women's Centre of Jamaica Foundation in Kingston. They painted classrooms, walls, fencing area and pavements, cut the lawn and raked debris from the grounds of the institution.

These efforts beautified the environment for the benefit of the 156 mothers below the age of 17 who are currently registered there.

VMBS also hosted facelift projects at Servite Primary School in Brown's Town and Salmon Memorial Basic School in Ocho Rios, St Ann, as well as at the Ebenezer Primary School in Manchester.
