Hanover man dies after vehicle overturns

A 49-year-old Hanover man this morning became the latest person killed on the nation’s roadways.

He is Howard Washington, of Lookout district, in Hopewell.

Since the start of the year more than 180 persons have died in motor vehicle crashes across the island.

The Anchovy Police are reporting that about 4:30 Washington was driving along the Reading main road when he lost control of the vehicle.

It is reported that the vehicle overturned and he was pronounced dead at hospital.
