INDECOM saddened by cops' deaths
The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) has joined in condemning the deaths of two members of the police force.
The constabulary force is mourning the deaths of Constable Curtis Lewis and Woman Constable Crystal Thomas.
Constable Lewis died as a result of injuries received while on traffic duty on Monday, while Woman Constable Thomas was murdered last night by gunmen who tried to rob passengers on a bus on which she was travelling.
INDECOM says it is disturbed by the horrendous circumstances under which these deaths occurred.
It says it is concerned about the frequency with which the members of the security forces are being violently attacked.
INDECOM says such action should be condemned by all.
