It was one of three illegal firearms seized in Kingston and Trelawny in a 12-hour period between yesterday and this morning.

According to the police, another firearm loaded with 10 rounds of ammunition was taken from a patron at the same street dance.

He has been taken into custody, but his identity has not been released.

In the other incident, the police say a Smith and Wesson firearm containing 6 rounds of ammunition was found in a bag on a passenger bus during a vehicular checkpoint operation along the Wiltshire main road in Falmouth.
