Clarendon man killed in highway crash, woman injured

A Clarendon man was last night killed and a female motorist injured during a motor vehicle crash along the Bustamante Highway in the parish.

Davian Binger who is from Convent Avenue in May Pen died from injuries he received when the vehicle he was driving overturned in the vicinity of Hunts Pen.

According to the police, Binger was travelling in a sports utility vehicle towards May Pen from Old Harbour.

The female motorist who was travelling in front of him reportedly indicated to turn left, however, Binger failed to reduce his speed.

He then hit the Corolla and swerved before his vehicle overturned.

Binger, who was found outside of his vehicle was taken to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

His brother Tadius Binger was left devastated.

"Mi lose me best brother," he said. "He is like everything to me."
