A 49-year-old St Catherine man has been hauled before the courts for the alleged unauthorised use of his employers’ money.

He is Patrick Crowl of Carnival Close in Caribbean Estates, Portmore.

Last Tuesday, detectives from the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Branch arrested and charged him with larceny as a servant.

Crowl is to appear before the Half-Way Tree Resident Magistrate’s Court on August 28.

It is alleged that Crowl conducted unauthorised business in the name of his employers and used company funds as payment for an undisclosed transaction.

His employers became aware of the breach and reported the matter to the Police.
