Police seek to identify man who collapsed, died after explosions on Oxford Street

An unidentified man collapsed and died while another was hospitalised after explosions were heard on Oxford Street, Kingston 14 this morning.

The police's Corporate Communication Unit (CCU) stated in a release issued this afternoon that the body of the unidentified man is of dark complexion, slim build and is about 180 centimetres (5 feet 11 inches) long, with ‘Mathalee’ tattooed on its left hand and a scar on the left side of its face.

It was clad in a black shirt, black short jeans and a pair of black suede shoes. The identity of the man in hospital was not released.

According to the CCU, about 6:18 a.m., both men were seen running from the back of a premises after explosions were heard. The men subsequently collapsed and were taken to hospital where the unidentified man died and the other admitted in serious condition.
