A Clarendon motorcyclist, identified as 34-year-old Jayson Rankin, died last night after being hit by three vehicles in a bizarre accident along the Bustamante Highway in the parish.

According to the police, Rankin, a  resident of Palmer's Cross, Clarendon was heading towards May Pen from Sandy Bay.

He reportedly stopped on the soft shoulder along the Nineteen Miles main road and was hit by a Toyota Corolla taxi.

The taxi driver stopped to help but before he could, Rankin was hit by a red pick-up truck and then by a Toyota Town Ace.

He was later pronounced dead at hospital.

The drivers of the taxi and the Town Ace turned up at the May Pen Police Station but the driver of the red pick-up is yet to be found.

The police are asking that driver to report to the nearest police station.
