Several passengers travelling in a Toyota Coaster bus suffered varying injuries this morning when it crashed into the Moby Dick Restaurant in downtown Kingston.

The police say the bus was travelling in the right lane along Port Royal Street when the driver of a Honda CR-V travelling in the middle lane attempted to turn right on to Orange Street.

The bus driver then crashed into the right side of the CR-V before he lost control of the coaster which then ploughed into the restaurant.

The police say two passengers who were travelling in the Coaster bus were still getting medical treatment up to late this afternoon.
