Footprints: Gregg Gentles - An inspiration to all he encountered
A young soul with a creative mind was born on September 20, 1989.
Gregg Michael Clive Gentles was a fun-loving and peaceful person.
Dancing and music were a major part of his life, but his death was sudden and cut through his family like a knife.
His sisters, Yanike, Kenisha, and Tanisha; his brothers, Craig, Keemo, Elthan, Nickal, and Matthew were heartbroken to know his death was true. They said he was one of the best persons they knew.
His mother, Joan McFarlane, remembers him as an obedient child, always loving, caring, and smiling.
Gregg was always a listener, his friend Carla Francis recalled. No matter what he was going through, he would listen and give sound advice.
Kenisha said Gregg was a special person and would be missed, while Yanike reminisced about all the Christmas and family dinners they had enjoyed together.
A brother, a son, a cousin, and a friend, that was Gregg, an inspiration to everyone he encountered.
His family and friends are at a loss, but they know they must be strong while they mourn him. His sisters pray for comfort in their time of grief and his cousin, Kimone, said that she loved him endlessly.
Gregg will be missed by his community members from Kennedy Lane, Gordon Pen, St Catherine. His family was glad and blessed to know him although their time together was cut short as a result of his untimely passing.
"Gregg, we will always love you and you will always be in our hearts. Sleep on sweet soul."
