Trust me to continue development work - Hylton tells constituents
Deputy People’s National Party chairman Anthony Hylton took to the campaign trail on the weekend telling constituents in his West St Andrew constituency to trust him to continue his work to develop their areas pointing to the potential role of the logistics hub in transforming communities.
According to Hylton, the current administration has rescued Jamaica from the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) and it deserves to be voted back into office.
Hylton has been a controversial government minister, most recently criticised for his handling of a US$5-billion proposed investment in Jamaica's logistics hub initiative.
The Cabinet, of which he is apart, decided against going ahead with his proposal because of a lack of sufficient due diligence.
Hylton told supporters that the JLP, is spreading propaganda about his party’s performance so far in office.
