Senior Superintendent Fitz Bailey will take up his post as the new Commander of the Clarendon Police Division tomorrow.
SSP Bailey, is formerly of the St Andrew Central Division and Area 4 Headquarters, takes over from SSP Morris Robinson.
He has been mandated by the Police High Command to organise operational activities geared at curtailing the recent upsurge of violence in Clarendon and to institute programmes geared towards boosting the morale of the men and women of the Division.
The High Command says SSP Bailey will be supported by an additional Senior Officer who will be shortly transferred to the parish.
Meanwhile, the High Command assigned Superintendent Vendolyn Cameron-Powell to take command of Area 3 and responsibility for the parish of Manchester.
