West Kingston Enquiry: No sitting today, no reason given
There will be no sitting of the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry today.
Tivoli committee witnesses were to continue their testimonies this morning.
The Commission was also expected to hear controversial testimony from three soldiers.
The three soldiers claim to have seen policemen kill innocent people in Tivoli Gardens in May 2010.
The army men were initially expected to testify on Monday and Tuesday.
However, the testimonies were pushed back to put necessary systems in place.
The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre understands that the soldiers will testify from an undisclosed location and their voices will be distorted.
An audio link is to be provided to the Jamaica Conference Centre, where the enquiry is being held.
It is understood that up to late yesterday efforts were being made to have the necessary systems in place for today.
No reason was given for the cancelation of today's sitting.
The commission will resume Thursday morning at 9:30.
