Three hospitalised in early morning crash

The ill-fated Toyota Corolla motor car that crashed along the Castle main road in east Portland early this morning.

Three persons have been hospitalised following a crash along the Castle main road in east Portland early this morning.

The police say the driver of a white Toyota Corolla station wagon travelling from Fair Prospect to Port Antonio lost control of the car in the vicinity of Castle.

The car then slammed into an embankment, flipping over several times before coming to a halt.

Shouts for help were heard coming from the damaged vehicle.Residents managed to pull the injured persons from the vehicle.

Three persons, who reportedly suffered cuts and bruises, were rushed to hospital in critical but stable condition. Their names or sexes are not yet known.

The Castle police are investigating.
