Operations police personnel at one of Kingston's largest police stations have been urged to ensure that their uniforms are ready ahead of the impending general elections.

Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller and her Finance Minister Dr Peter Phillips have indicated that there will be early general elections.

Earlier today, Phillips said the Government is still looking to hold early elections despite unfavourable poll numbers.
