President of the Jamaican Bar Association, Donovan Walker is seeking to make it clear that the association’s support of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) is not politically motivated.

This week the association and seven other groups issued a joint statement calling for support of the move to make the CCJ Jamaica’s final court.

Speaking with The Gleaner/Power 106 News Center this morning Walker argued that the Bar Association’s position on the CCJ has changed because it has seen the court function efficiently.
