The Minimum Wage Commission chairman says security companies should ensure that guards receive payslips with a detailed description of all deductions.

Chairman of the Minimum Wage Commission Silvera Castro is appealing to security companies to stop shortchanging guards.

Castro says security guards are entitled to allowances paid on each hour worked.

However, he says some companies have been capping the amount paid based on the regular 40 hour work week.

Castro says this should not happen.
