Footprints: Lennard Morris - A happy and respectful individual

Published:Tuesday | October 27, 2015 | 10:00 AM

A tailor. A father. A husband. A friend. That was Lennard Morris.

Morris was born on May 30, 1949. He was affectionately called 'Lenny'.

His parents, Alberta Angus and Arnold Morris, loved and nurtured him into a wonderful soul.

Morris was born in St Catherine and was raised in Kitson Town. He had seven siblings - five sisters and two brothers.

His relatives described him as a happy and respectful individual.

Morris was married to Kacheta, and their union produced three children, Holmer, Carlos and Sheree Morris, and they loved him. He loved them and they are now without a devoted father.

Morris was a tailor. He enjoyed his job, and his community will miss him as they have lost a man who was good at his craft.

He also enjoyed travelling to America.

Morris made the transition to be with God on October 12 at age 66, leaving behind six grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives to mourn his death.

His family will remember him and treasure the joy he brought to their lives.

Lennard 'Lenny' Morris - a beautiful soul. You will be missed.
