Attorney to seek release of husband of murdered Manchester businesswoman
Attorney-at-Law, Oswest Senior Smith, says he plans to file an application in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court tomorrow to seek the release of the husband of murdered Manchester businesswoman, Norma Coleman.
Vincent Coleman has been in police custody since last week Thursday.
Senior Smith says the police have scheduled a question and answer session with his client for tomorrow evening.
Coleman surrendered to investigators at the Criminal Investigation Branch last week in Kingston following a request from him to surrender to the police.
His 61-year-old wife was shot dead on Confidence Avenue in Mandeville on October 23.
The police have indicated that they are treating the businesswoman’s murder as a contract killing.
Three policemen implicated in the murder have so far been arrested.
