PM to address the nation Sunday about health crises, Cabinet changes
Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller is to address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday night.
It will be aired on Power 106FM at 7 p.m.
Jamaica House says Simpson Miller will speak on the issues affecting the health sector and the imminent changes to the Cabinet.
On Friday, Simpson Miller announced that come Monday, Health Minister Dr Fenton Ferguson will be stripped of that portfolio and reassigned to Labour and Social Security.
Minister without Portfolio in the Finance Ministry Horace Dalley will take over the Health Ministry.
Derrick Kellier will keep responsibility for Agriculture and Fisheries but will no longer have the Labour and Social Security portfolio.
Ferguson had come under intense pressure for his handling of the dead babies scandal.
