Retired cop vows to lock down Pickersgill's political career

Retired police officer Newton Amos, the Jamaica Labour Party's standard bearer for North West St Catherine has vowed to dispatch into retirement the incumbent People's National Party MP Robert Pickersgill.

Amos whipped the crowd in Spanish Town St. Catherine in a frenzy when he declared: "There is no power on this earth that can save this little man, for my duty is to send him into retirement and rid the country of this nuisance."

He said JLP Leader Andrew Holness can be guaranteed of the constituency that Pickersgill has held since 1989.
