Tivoli convenor to know if he will face criminal charges today
A ruling on whether Convenor of the Tivoli Committee, Lloyd D'Aguilar will face criminal charges in relation to discrepancies in witness statements he took from residents of the West Kingston community is to be known today.
The ruling is to be delivered to the secretariat of the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry.
It will be shared with the enquiry's three commissioners before being made public.
The matter was referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions for a decision after discrepancies were found in witness statements which were reportedly taken by D'Aguilar.
Residents have given testimony denying claims made in the statements and blaming the Tivoli Committee Convenor for the discrepancies.
