JCF to auction 138 vehicles in January

One-hundred-and-thirty-eight unclaimed and derelict vehicles in the possession of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), will be auctioned next year January.

The announcement was made in an advertisement in yesterday's edition of The Sunday Gleaner

The JCF says the vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles will be sold as scrap metal at public and closed auctions on January two and three. 

The vehicles are currently in the Narcotics Division and the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse. 

Vehicles from the Motorised Patrol Division and the Denham Town Police Station in Kingston are also listed. 

Toyota Corollas and Hiace mini buses make up the majority of the vehicles to be auctioned.
