10-year-old Jamaican song sampled by Kanye West gets Grammy nod

Dance With Me, the song of a Jamaican artiste which has been sampled by American rapper Kanye West in his hit number All Day could get more global recognition.

This as West's song is tipped for a Grammy nomination in the 'Best Rap Performance' category.

All Day which includes a portion Jamaican Noel 'Rozah Rose' Ellis' 10-year-old song Dance With Mehas sold more than 500,000 copies in the US.

All Day, sang by West, features Theophilus London, Allan Kingdom and Paul McCartney.

It is produced under the Def Jam Recordings lable.

All Day, which is featured on West's upcoming seventh studio album SWISH, spent several weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, and was premiered by West earlier this year at the 2015 BRIT awards.

Rozah is the son of reggae great Alton Ellis, and also the brother to veteran comedian Owen 'Blakka' Ellis.
