Courts Jamaica is offering up a fabulous five of the best buys for Christmas.

A living room suite, a complete Walles bedroom suite (which is new to the Courts line-up), TCL smart TV, General Electric inverter refrigerator, and an innovative Whirlpool stove with smart timer and temperature control make up the tasty offerings. Debbie Rowe, merchandising manager, said these items usually do well at any time of year.

"But now we're offering specials with them," Rowe explained. "So we're marrying them with other projects and offering additional stuff with them. For example, the bedroom set comes with a choice of television, one of three elegant benches, and accessories. "It's all about beautifying the home for Christmas."

In addition to the best buys, there are also a number of SDAs (small domestic appliances) perfect for the household, especially during the season.

Hot sellers

"We have stuff like pressure cookers and cake mixers because everybody and their momma will be baking," Rowe laughed. She noted that other hot sellers expected for the year include everything from tablets to recliners. This is part of Courts' new brochure, launched on Sunday, December 5. Rowe said Courts was very happy with the sales leading up to the Christmas season.

"What we saw happening this year was that a lot of persons came in earlier ... people started coming in October to shop," she said. "So we've had quite a few things going on like our TGIS (Thank God It's Sunday) and our Midnight Rush that saw a lot of people coming out. People were earmarking what they want, so we're happy for that. They are making sure that they come out and capitalise on the deals."
