JDF Private charged for shooting teen in April
The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) this morning arrested and charged a member of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) in relation to the shooting injury of a teenager in April in Spanish Town, St Catherine
Private Ravaughn Scott was charged with wounding with intent.
He was brought before Resident Magistrate Natalee Brooks in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate’s Court where he was offered bail in the sum of $250,000.
He is to surrender his travel documents and a stop order has been placed on him at all of Jamaica's ports.
Scott is to return to court on March 15 next year.
It is alleged that the teenager was shot during a joint military operation in the Oxford Road, Railway Premises.
