The Jamaica Constabulary Force says it has been implementing its operational plan for the winter tourist season.

Clifford Blake, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations, says each year, the police develop an operational plan.

He says for this season, the plan has been rolled out in the major resort areas of Negril, Ocho Rios, Falmouth and Montego Bay.

DCP Blake says there will be increased police presence and the High Command is satisfied that visitors will be safe.
