The Christmas tree in St William Grant Park reflects the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation efforts to brighten downtown Kingston for the season.

From strict enforcement of vending rules to temporary traffic changes and the establishment of beautifully decorated Christmas trees, the island's municipal bodies are trying to ensure that the shopping experience is a pleasant one in the main market districts in the parishes this season.
