Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited connected with communities, touching the lives of Jamaicans through the 2015 Pop-Up SANTA initiative.

The promotion got off to a great start on Friday, December 4 at the Mandeville Shopping Centre in Manchester. Dozens of children got in line to get their keepsake photos with the Sagicor santa who was decked in a santa outfit embellished in company colours blue and green. Adults were also in line for fitting treats, namely free health checks from the company's mobile unit. The initiative commenced in December 2014 at the Sagicor Shopping Centre in Spanish Town as part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for the Christmas Season. Nadene Newsome, manager of public relations and CSR at Sagicor, said the project is now an annual one.

"The response to last year's Pop-Up SANTA was overwhelming. The smiles which lit up the faces of the many children who received toys and books resonated in our minds. We also made the decision to expand the initiative to include more locations." After Mandeville, the Santa 'popped up' in Duke Street in Downtown Kingston on Tuesday, December 15 and Eight Rivers Town Centre in Ocho Rios,

St Ann on Friday, December 18. The final stop was in May Pen on Monday December 21.
