A travel advisor from Baltimore, looks up at the buildings around the New York Stock Exchange while touring lower Manhattan with a group of other advisors during a snow storm today.

The Norman Manley International Airport Limited (NMIA) is appealing to all airline passengers to check their travel schedule.

The appeal comes in the wake of a severe snow storm now spreading across the eastern United States.

As a result, NMIA says flights destined for and coming from these United States may be delayed or cancelled.

It says flight not destined for the eastern US may also be impacted as the airline network become congested from all the delays.

NMIA says it is in contact with all airlines and will update arrivals and departures information on its website and on social media.
