People's National Party (PNP) president Portia Simpson Miller has declared that there is no tension in her relationship with Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Leader Andrew Holness.

"There is no change in the relationship between Mr Holness as Leader of the Opposition and myself as Prime Minister," Simpson Miller said.

"There is no tension," she said at a mass meeting in Papine, St Andrew Wednesday night.

"If he calls to speak to me now I will take his call and I am sure that if I call he would take my call," the PNP president said.

Her comments come amid her demand for an apology from Holness over statements he has made about her.

Holness has rejected the demand to say sorry.
